Walgreens Savings Club

this last week, my head feels like it's going to self-combust and explode off my head. actually, that wouldn't be so bad since I can't stand it being on my head currently... the only thing that has been able to get me through is lots of rest and the wonderful {yet fuzzy/loopy inducing} pain medications i got from Walgreen's Pharamacy.

thankfully, the stress of the accident and the pain was taken away a little bit by the fact that the medications were really cheap and we didn't have to jump through a lot of hoops with insurance to get them. we have always gone to Walgreen's for our medications and will probably continue to go there for some time.

unfortunately, because of some new changes to Walgreens and Express Script, it's not as quick and easy for some people to get their prescriptions.

for the past year, Walgreen's has tried to negotiate with the company Express Scripts to provide cheap and quick medications without having to drive around to other pharmacies and struggling with insurance plans. but Express Scripts has denied Walgreen's application and it's causing rates to go up as well increased hassle driving around to other pharmacies to get their medications.

since Walgreen's understands how frustrating this situation is for some and how important it is for people to get their medications, they have launched the Walgreens Prescription Savings Club to help ease the burden of prices. a person can join during the special January promotion of $5 or $10 family membership for generic medications. this can be a HUGE help for families who may be affected by this change but can't afford to go other places for their medications.
